The original American house of leather, Coach was founded Miles Cahn in 1941 in the very heart of New York City, as a small, family-run workshop with six leather artisans. Coach brand expanded into fragrance in 2007, which is named as Coach perfume. In 2013, Executive Creative Director Stuart Vevers took over Coach brand. Since then, Coach has further expanded from leathergoods to forays into fashion.

They launched the first perfume "Coach Signature Perfume" in 2007 and it was inspired by NYC, where Coach was founded. The latest edition is "Coach for Men Eau de Parfum" which is launched in 2025.
